Library Coordinator

Salvation Islamic School & College (SISC) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Library Coordinator to manage our vibrant school library. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fostering a love for reading, supporting academic excellence, and guiding students on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Management: Organize and maintain a diverse collection of books, digital resources, and reference materials to support the school curriculum and students’ interests.
  • Student Assistance: Help students and faculty locate resources, conduct research, and develop critical information literacy skills.
  • Reading Promotion: Coordinate reading programs, book clubs, and events to inspire a culture of reading within the school community.
  • Islamic and Academic Knowledge: Manage and promote resources in Islamic studies, academic subjects, and general knowledge, enhancing students’ growth and understanding.
  • Digital Resources: Oversee digital subscriptions and e-resources, ensuring students have access to a broad range of online learning tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in library management or similar roles, especially in educational settings.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for literacy, education, and promoting Islamic values through knowledge.
